Quiz 24 carried one genuinely important answer and one that breaks everyone's brain a little. Both deserve the replay.
Which blood type is the universal donor?
O negative. It can be given to patients of any blood type, which is why emergency departments reach for it when there is no time to test. If you happen to carry it, blood banks would love to hear from you.
Which planet has the longest day in the solar system?
Venus. One full rotation takes 243 Earth days, which is longer than its entire year of 225 days. On Venus, a day literally outlasts the year, and it spins backwards while doing it.
Space refuses to be sensible, and we love it for that.
Which country does this flag belong to?
Take a look at the flag above. It belongs to Norway: a blue cross outlined in white on a red field. It is the busy cousin of the Danish flag, which is the same design minus the blue.
That was Quiz 24: the blood type that saves strangers, a planet where the day beats the year, and one more Nordic cross for the collection.
