The summer solstice, which falls on December 21st or 22nd in Australia. It happens when the Earth's tilt points our half of the planet closest to the Sun, stretching daylight to its yearly maximum.
The flip side, the winter solstice in June, is the shortest. The planet runs on a very reliable schedule.
What does somnambulating mean?
Sleepwalking. Somnambulating is the gloriously fancy term for wandering around the house while fast asleep. Drop it into conversation and watch people pretend they knew it.
What country is highlighted?
