What is a baby echidna called?
A puggle. Baby echidnas (and baby platypuses) are called puggles, which might be the most delightful word in Australian wildlife. They hatch from an egg the size of a grape and ride around in their mum's pouch until their spines come in.
What is the hottest planet in our solar system?
Venus, not Mercury. Even though Mercury sits closer to the Sun, Venus runs an average surface temperature of about 464°C thanks to a thick carbon dioxide atmosphere that traps heat like an oven with the door welded shut.
A perfect example of why the obvious answer is not always the right one.
Which country's flag has six colours?
Take a look at the flag above. It belongs to South Africa, whose flag manages six colours in one design: black, gold, green, white, red and blue, converging in a sideways Y.
