    Here's how we work it out:

    Step 1: Find 10%
    To find 10%, just divide by 10:
    80 ÷ 10 = 8

    Step 2: Find 5%
    5% is half of 10%, so divide 8 by 2:
    8 ÷ 2 = 4

    Step 3: Add them together
    10% + 5% = 15%, so:

    8 + 4 = 12
