A brand new quiz every Thursday!

Who voices Woody in every Toy Story movie?

94% of families spotted a raspberry from one extreme close up, and yet only 58% could name the Hollywood actor who has voiced Woody in every Toy Story film. That gap sums up Quiz 44 nicely. Players averaged a healthy 11.7 out of 15 and got 78% of all answers right, one of our stronger weeks, but a question about the Roman calendar quietly split the country.

Which two months were added to the Roman calendar?

January and February were the two months added to the Roman calendar. The original Roman year ran from March through to December, so those two were tacked on at the end to fill the winter gap.

Only 57% of players named one of them, and this was where the states really parted ways, a 26 point gap between the best and the worst. Here is the lovely part, and it is why we love this question so much. It is exactly why September, October, November and December come from the Latin for seven, eight, nine and ten. Back when the year started in March, they genuinely were the seventh to tenth months.

Who voices Woody in every Toy Story movie?

Tom Hanks has voiced Woody in every single Toy Story film, from the 1995 original right through to Toy Story 4. He recorded the very first lines before most of today's players were even born.

58% of families got there, which surprised us a little given how beloved these films are. Woody is one of those characters whose voice you know instantly, even when the actor's name sits just out of reach. If the kids guessed and a parent confirmed it, that is a proper team effort.

What fruit is shown in this close up?

It's a raspberry. A whopping 94% of players spotted it, which made this the easiest question in the whole quiz and comfortably the one families got right most often.

Those little clusters of round segments, each with its own tiny hair, give it away once you know what you are looking at. Strawberries wear their seeds on the outside and blackberries are darker and shinier, so the raspberry's soft red bumps are quite distinctive. Turns out Aussie families know their berries.
